This year’s Lakefest raffle is one get-together waiting to happen! Among the gifts is a 20-gallon 33rd annual Lakefest stainless steel cooler on wheels, a stainless steel gas grill and table (courtesy of Michael Y. Wagstaff Construction), a Lakefest apron and chef’s hat, sports bag filled with seven games including volleyball, badminton, horseshoes and others, and a basket of grilling essentials: tank of propane, stainless grill tools, marinade and rub, cookbook, grill cleaners and various sizes of plates and napkins printed with a cookout theme. Making the super weekend raffle even more sweet is a gift certificate for a weekend luxury lakefront stay at the Best Western On the Lake for two and a set of four Best Western On the Lake koozie covers (these gifts are courtesy of Best Western On the Lake).
The drawing will be held on Friday evening during one of the band’s breaks on July 16, at the main stage area (behind Wachovia Bank) and you need not be present to win.
The person holding the winning ticket will win all of the gifts in the “super weekend raffle”—a value of nearly $700.
Tickets for the Lakefest 2010 super weekend raffle are available at the Clarksville Chamber Office (105 Second Street); they are $5 per ticket or three for $10. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Lakefest funds that help to supplement the costs involved with the hot air balloons, fireworks and other venues of the 33rd annual event. For more information, call the Chamber at 434-374-2436.

I was curious about who won the raffle for the Boat that was parked at the Firehouse for the past couple months? I bought some tickets and they were saying that it would be announced at the lakefest? With all the rain and hustle and bustle I missed that drawing. Could you tell me anything about this raffle and pssibly the winner of the boat? I am pretty sure it isn’t me, because i am assuming that they would have called me by now? It would be nice to know though.
Any information you have about this would be greatly appreciate
We had a really great time this year…can’t wait until next year!
Thanks!
Kathryn Merritt
Thanks for your message & inquiry. According to the billboard at the Clarksville Volunteer Fire Department…the winner of the boat raffle was Carole Blair.
