CLARKSVILLE CHRISTMAS PARADE
You know it’s officially the Christmas season when the Clarksville Christmas Parade heads down Main Street. It’s a spectacular event with holiday-themed floats, cars, bands, and more. You don’t want to miss this amazing small-town celebration of the season! And a visit by Santa himself is the highlight of the parade – with the cheers and laughter of children filling the streets, this event is a ‘must’ for the entire family!

WINE FESTIVAL
The Annual Wine Festival sponsored by the Clarksville Lake Country Chamber is held each year in April. Hundreds of locals and visitors attend this outdoor event which includes local wineries. Food vendors line the festival with local favorites and some unique additions to their menus for the event. Craft vendors also provide the attendees with a fun shopping experience throughout the afternoon. Downtown Clarksville shops, restaurants and cafes are also open and many offer specials and discounts for the day.
This event is for adults 21 years and older. Stay tuned for more information on ticket releases!
Clarksville, VA hosts the annual Big Lake Flea Market with loads of vendors lining the sidewalks downtown. Residents and visitors converge together for this fabulous event that offers something for everyone.
Recycled clothing, home decor, antiques, furniture and just about anything makes it a popular event. The Big Lake Flea Market is held in May each year — rain or shine. The Big Lake Flea Market is perfect for those who want to ‘go green’ and upcycle or recyle. And vendors raise money while they’re doing it. JULY 4th PARADE
The July 4th annual parade is a fun-filled day of celebration for our country’s independence – and everyone comes out to participate! Red, white and blue fills the streets as all of our parade entries are decked out in a patriotic theme. Everyone is welcome to participate and it’s free! LAKEFEST
Voted by the Southeast Tourism Society as ‘One of the Top 20 Festivals In The Southeast’ for many years, LakeFest (as it is known locally) attracts nearly 50,000 people annually to view hundreds of attractions including hot air balloons, arts and crafts, live entertainment, music, dancing, and great local and ethnic food. The event culminates in the traditional ‘Gathering Of The Boats’ and fireworks show on Saturday evening. Boaters take to Buggs Island/Kerr Lake and festival-goers line the shores to see the hot air balloons.

Calling all creative talents! The Catfish Crawl is back for 2026. Clark is our catfish mascot and he can’t wait to see the town filled with amazing creations depicting catfish. Beginning August 1st, we display catfish creations throughout the town. We are looking for creative minds to team up with a participating business sponsor and have their own creations displayed throughout the month of August. Public & Committee Judges vote for the top three (3) best creations displayed throughout August. Creations can be made of paper, canvas, wood, steel, paper mache, or whatever your creative mind conjures up.
The Bobber Drop is an annual event and tickets are sold May through August for just $10 each and a chance at winning up to $5,000. Winner is announced on the last Saturday of August when a bobber is chosen out of Buggs Island Lake and returned to the Town Dock. You can purchase your bobber tickets online or by visiting the Chamber office.

HARVEST DAY FESTIVAL
The annual Harvest Day Festival is a spectacular event in downtown Clarksville, VA when hundreds of people gather for a festive day on the streets. The event is held on the first Saturday in October and this family-friendly event kicks off the holiday fall and winter season of events downtown. Vendors line the streets from 9am until 3pm. And there will be plenty to see, taste, and do! Vendors offer seasonal crafts, specialty gift items, home decor, antiques, collectibles, floral arrangements, and much more. And it’s the perfect day to browse the one-of-a-kind specialty shops and restaurants downtown too. Many of them offer specials and discounts for this special fall celebration. Children will love the petting zoo too so bring the entire family. Come out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather and take advantage of the activities, entertainment, and shopping on the sidewalks of downtown Clarksville. The event is open to the public and there is no admission charge. Vendors can apply online or download the application and mail it to the Chamber office.
